Editing a Configuration
To edit an existing configuration, follow these steps.
- Access the Configuration Manager as described in Accessing the Configuration Manager.
- Click the Edit button.
- The Edit Existing Configuration screen appears. Use the following table to guide you through each field.
Fields on the Edit Existing Configuration Screen
Field Description Configuration name Update the configuration name. You use this name to identify which configuration to log into. CMS Location Enter the full path to the Ektron CMS400.NET version that you will access via this configuration. For example, http://bills_computer/cms400example.The default location is the local PC:http://localhost/CMS400Example Authentication default (Read Only Access) Check this checkbox if, when accessing Ektron Explorer via this configuration, you want to submit the default user name and password. In this case, you can view all CMS content but not edit.If you want to edit CMS content, change the CMS login name and password to that of a user with editing privileges. CMS Login (Only available if default is not checked.)Enter your CMS username, as entered in the CMS Add/Edit User screen.
