Explanation and Implementation

Level I to include new and current instructors to HCC/AVS with 3 years or less of
applicable teaching experience.

Level II to include current HCC/AVS instructors with more than 3 years of
applicable teaching experience.

To progress upward from one level to another a part-time instructor must
complete 36 credits or load hours of part-time teaching at HCC/AVS and
participate in 18 clock hours of pre-approved staff development.

The part-time instructor may move up a level any semester taught following
completion of the teaching and staff development requirements.
