Part Time Faculty Handbook

The Kansas State Board of Regents requires that classes be held for 750 minutes for each hour of credit earned. Hutchinson Community College requires 900 minutes for each credit hour granted. When representatives from the Kansas State Board of Regents visit campus for an audit, they randomly select classes and request that the instructor verify that the class met for the required time. Therefore, it is necessary that classes meet for the required length of time.
