Contract of Employment

HUTCHINSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Hutchinson, Kansas

THIS CONTRACT, Made this date of  --<date>-- between the Board of Trustees of Hutchinson Community College, Hutchinson, Kansas (the “Board”)., and --<4> <5> <3>--, (the “Employee”).

W I T N E S S E T H:

In consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements herein contained, the parties agree, as follows:

 

1. The board hereby employs Employee for a period commencing --<8>-- and ending    --<9>--.  The Continuing Contract Law does not apply to this contract.

 

1. The Board shall pay the Employee the sum of --<10>-- for the entire term for all services under this contract, payable in --<11>-- installment(s) beginning --<13>--. Contracts for Federal and other special programs are subject to availability of continued funding.

 

1. Employee’s duties shall include the following: (a) the assignment listed below; (b) to keep and maintain a record of each person under Employee’s supervision; (c) to make all reports required by law and such other reports as may be requested by the President; (d) to govern and conduct such room or rooms as may be assigned to the Employee by the President; (e) to maintain standards of competency, conduct, decorum and integrity in accordance with the usual standards of the teaching profession; (f) to perform such other duties as may be assigned by the President; (g) to comply with the rules and regulations of the Board; and (h) TO MEET EACH CLASS 900 MINUTES PER CREDIT HOUR IN COMPLIANCE WITH KANSAS STATUTES.

 

1. Employee’s salary shall be reduced on a prorata basis for each day of unauthorized absence from Employee’s assigned duties, except that Employee shall be allowed any sick leave to which the Employee may be entitled.
