Procedures for Instructor Evaluation
Student evaluations of part-time instructors will be administered once every semester for all instructors. Instructors will be notified of an approximate date that semester evaluations will take place. During the evaluations, instructors are asked to step out of the room. Every effort will be made to ensure that the evaluation is administered at a time that is least disruptive to the class.
The Site Coordinator, Department Chairperson, or appropriate Dean will review evaluations. If deficiencies are indicated, improvement strategies will be outlined with the Dean, Department Chairperson, or the Site Coordinator. Results of student evaluations will be sent to each instructor after grades are turned in at the end of the semester.
