Course Assessment

Assessment of learning outcomes requires faculty to answer the following:

1. Outcomes--What are the student learning outcomes for the courses?
2. Assessment Instrument--What performances, activities, assignments, or test questions will indicate whether students have achieved the student learning outcomes established for the course?
3. Evaluation Method--How can the performances, activities, assignments, or test questions chosen to assess the student learning outcomes be evaluated so that students’ scores are not dependent on the rater?
4. Level of Achievement—What score will students need to receive on the evaluation of their performances, activities, assignments, or test questions in order to demonstrate mastery of the learning outcome?
