Program Assessment
Program and institution-wide assessment will be tied to course assessment. As with course assessment, the first step in program and institution-wide assessment is determining learning outcomes. When selecting program outcomes, instructors in the program should go through a process similar the one for establishing course outcomes. When the program outcomes have been determined, members of the faculty teaching in the program will review the courses required of students in the program and identify which course outcomes address the program outcomes. They will then complete the program curriculum map and submit it to the Assessment Committee.
